Sisi spent her childhood living with her conservative State Chief Justice grandpapa, in China, and liberal, warm and outgoing grandmama because both her parents are busy university professors. In her dancing classes, you might find Sisi a serious teacher providing clear instructions and solid encouragement. Yet be prepared for her room-freezing deadpan quotes. After spending 1/5 of her law school time playing softball, she graduated and worked as an in-house counsel.
Sisi has a lot of stage performance experiences ever since her kindergarten years doing solos and group dances. She has danced Irish steps for 15 years but has never won any international prizes. Her favorite Irish dance sets are Blackbird (Molyneaux) and Vanishing Lake. She is a member of IAMPETH, writing uncial, gothic, engrosser’s script, ornamental penmanship. Recently, she is smitten with offhand flourishing.
Sisi is incredibly thankful to Log Art Dance for this invaluable educating opportunity. She will work smart to enhance students' dance skills.
Rachel is a graduate from Pennsylvania Highlands Community College and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, receiving her associates degree in liberal arts and sciences and her bachelor’s degree in English literature. Rachel has had a passion for the arts since grade school, performing in school musicals and plays, singing in the choir, and cantering at mass, taking singing lessons and piano lessons, and taking multiple art classes throughout her educational career. Dance has always been another passion of Rachel’s. She has taken dance lessons all throughout her life, including ballet when she was a child, hip-hop class during high school, as well as participating in local wellness classes, such as Zumba. Rachel has been working hard under the instruction of professional dance instructor, Angela R. Godin, to become a ballroom dance instructor for the Community Arts Center of Cambria County. In her spare time, Rachel loves writing, doing anything cosmetology related, and creating art and music. She feels unbelievably grateful to be working at the Community Arts Center of Cambria County where she can express herself and bring the community together to celebrate their passion and love for keeping the arts alive.
