It is with very heavy hearts that we must announce that the 55th annual Log House Arts Festival, originally scheduled for this weekend, must be cancelled. The West Hills Fire Department is keeping multiple municipalities in a state of emergency as ongoing efforts are still being made to clear downed trees and restore the many fallen power lines. There is currently no estimate on when Penelec will be able to get around to fixing the downed lines as many of them are tangled around trees and tree branches. They want to keep traffic in and around Westmont to a minimum while repairs are being made throughout the weekend.
To our vendors who travel from near and far, we are incredibly sorry. We would love nothing more than to have your wonderful crafts offered for sale across our property, but that simply is not in the cards for us this weekend. Indoor vendors who have already set up will be given time tomorrow (Sept. 5) from 10 AM to 2 PM to pack up and load out your wares.
We apologize to everyone who looks forward to this event every year.

The Log House Arts Festival happens on the Community Arts Center’s 2.5 scenic acres in the Westmont section of Johnstown, PA. The festival is one of the largest fundraising efforts that the Center does each year, hosting over 10,000 visitors annually and is a special event/fundraiser geared toward any quality handcrafted Artist/Craftsman willing to sell and/or demonstrate original work. The festival features hand-crafted items, including jewelry, pottery, florals, rugs, crafted wood and decor, tole, plants, fabric items, handbags, sweatshirts, furniture, Steelers “gear,” metal artwork, slate artwork, fudge, wine, and a distillery. Craftspeople are juried and carefully selected to create a balanced mix of crafts so that the festival represents a wide cross-section of arts and crafts, and fine arts. The Community Arts Center does not take commission from the craftsmen and there is no admission fee/charge for the public, including the "Kids' Kingdom" section of the festival, dedicated to inspiring a creative arts and crafts environment of activities for children and youth. The objective is to provide free, educational, cultural attractions to the public, as well as to give the public an ideal opportunity to purchase works of art and handcrafted items directly from craftsmen and artisans. Our festival is highly publicized, and every year the Community Arts Center tries hard to add new attractions, craft vendors, food, music, and entertainers.
Fill out our vendor form below if you are interested in applying to become a vendor! If you have any issues accessing the vendor form, please feel free to email your business information & photos of your work to info@caccc.org.
Elmer C. Laslo is greatly missed for his amazing leadership, guidance, and volunteering services to the Community Arts Center of Cambria County. He served on our Board of Directors for over 30 years, previously as Past President and was most recently Treasurer. His legacy will live on and we are so grateful for his many years of dedication to our organization. It is our honor to dedicate the 53rd annual Log House Arts Festival to Elmer Laslo.

Parking will be available at Hiram G. Andrews Center (727 Goucher Street) and Westmont Hilltop Elementary School (827 Diamond Boulevard). The shuttles will run to each location on a consistent basis from 10 am to 4 pm on both days of the festival.
